Note Durations

How long each note lasts.

One Measure

Whole Notes (One note lasts a whole measure)

Reading List

This list shows the reader the correct order to play the measures.

Play the part one time.

Play the part two times.

The two dots at the beginning and the end are repeats. Play the whole part circle to circle twice.

Play the part four times.

‘X4’ means play the part four times.

Different endings

Play the part twice, but end with the third measure (part 1) the first time. And end with the fourth measure (part 2) the second time.

Bend String / Bend and Release.

Hamer On

Pick one note and then ‘Hamer On’ the second note without picking it.

Slide

Pick a note and then slide it up to the next note.

Pull Offs

Pick a note and then pull it off the string without picking the second note.

Vibrato

Bend the string up and down to create vibrato.

How I created these files.

For the pictures, hit the ‘Print Screen’ button. Then open the paint program that comes with Windows. Click the Paste button. move the picture around until It looks the way you want it. Then ‘Save’ the picture.

Piston Midi to MP3 Converter

  1. Click on CBR, then Bitrate 192kbps.
